Dr. Harris is a recent graduate from NC State University where he has completed his doctoral program under the direction of the Lampe Distinguished Professor of Electrical Engineering with the dissertation entitled Electrothermal Analysis of Three-Dimensional Integrated Circuits. Dr. Harris has experience with electrothermal analysis of three-dimensional integrated circuits, and has worked under DARPA contract at the Air Force Research Laboratory on the project. Furthermore he has made contributions to the field of standoff acoustic analysis with the Army Research Laboratory. He has previously served at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in the Material Science Laboratory to improve opto-electronic contacts for III-nitride LEDs, and he is currently leading Dot Metrics’ research on the thermal management of DUV LED lamps.
