Our core competency is LED technology. We actively seek out corporate alliances to assist in rapidly translating our unique LED expertise and IP into new products for these corporations.
As a small company depending on a potential open innovation partners, we may produce the UV LED flow cell systems or license our LED technology depending on the market environment and partner needs.
We will continue to develop intellectual capital and prototyping in house, and to leverage our association with UNC Charlotte and the Charlotte Research Institute. This relationship provides Dot Metrics Technologies access to technical capabilities of a company 10X our size.
Through this strategic alliance, we can maximize cash flow via expert subcontracts, equipment leasing and office/lab rental arrangements with the university. This business model allows our company to focus resources on developing critical technology and intellectual property rather than the requirements of a high cash infrastructure.
